Monitoring the quality of surface water is an important step towards sustainability resources. Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) opensource desktop application which used for editing and analysing geospatial data. This study aims to develop a QGIS plugin named Lake Ecosystem Tool monitor health condition lake in terms index, trophic state hazard quotient, aerial spread volumetric change same can be as planning tool sustainable management existing bodies.
